This restaurant on second floor

I am sitting in this restaurant on the second floor amidst the most enchanting lights. They are dim, yet somehow still so beautiful. The ceiling above mimics the night sky, with more stars than I could have imagined. If you look closely, the stars are really some clever light play.

From where I’m sitting, I can see the entire restaurant, from the beautifully lit balcony in the far corner to the colourful frills on the ceiling beams. The balcony itself is a sight to behold, with lanterns and fairy lights casting a warm yellow glow over everything beneath them.

I can’t help but appreciate the attention to detail in this place — the colourful curtains separating the balcony from the rest of the restaurant, the shiny copper cutlery, and the countless other touches that make this place so special.

As I take in the stunning view before me, a sudden thought occurs to me: how would Vincent Van Gogh have painted this scene? I can almost see the colours he would have highlighted, the way he would have made the pillars and lanterns appear so dreamy and ethereal on his canvas.

It’s such a shame Van Gogh is not in Bangalore, and uh… alive.
